Lyn Coffin

More than 30 of Lyn Coffin's books (poetry, fiction, drama, non-fiction, translation, a children's book) have been published by Doubleday, Ithaca House, Poezia Press and others. Her latest book of poetry, The Artwork on the Backs of Gargoyles (Transcendent Zero Press, 2021), contains sestinas and villanelles written in male/female/gender fluid voices. In 2020, Adelaide Books published her novel The Aftermath. She is the recipient of many grants and awards and has had poems published in over 100 magazines including Time. She was Assistant Editor of the Michigan Quarterly for many years and currently reads poetry for Bracken. She taught Creative Writing at the University of Michigan and one of her short fictions was in The Best American Short Stories edited by Joyce Carol Oates.
