This course will center on samples of work from writers whose work investigates queer temporality—time as nonlinear, as curious, as fluid and changing. How are recent poetry collections such as Yanyi’s, The Year of Blue Water, and Jos Charles,’ A Year, engaging in conversations about time as textured, constructed and deconstructed by events? We will conclude this course with two generative exercises.
